It would have been nice if somehow the pictures could have been captioned for us old guys who weren’t there. Peoples looks change over the years.
Yea.. I’m sorry about that Paul (this is Kristen, Brooks Wilson’s daughter, web person)… I didn’t know all of them and forgot some of them too and wanted to be sure to get pictures of everything and everyone for you all, and just taking and uploading the 200 pictures was a lot. Hopefully you can make it to next year’s reunion.
Amen.
Great recap and pictures. Thanks. Sorry I couldn’t be there with you.
Semper Fi,
Bill Weise
We are sorry you couldn’t make it as well sir… and I do believe there are a few pictures of some of your Bastards in the breakfast area talking on the phone with you! (Kristen)
Simply awesome! Thanks for the pics and documentation of awards and the Marines and Corpsmen. It just wasn’t in the cards for me to attend this year.
Thank you Brook, Kristin and Becky for all you do to keep the memory alive and inclusive of the Marines and others who can’t make the trek.

Class of 1968
It is seriously my pleasure. As I was reviewing and uploading the pictures, remembered how much fun I had and enjoying the company and then, realizing what an honor it was for me to hike/crawl that hill to see those who were there in spirit… and then as I was updating the In Memoriam… reminding myself.. that I was alive and well and thankful for those whom I was putting in that fought for this amazing Country… so for you sir, thank you for your service and I hope that you can make it next year. (Kristen)
Semper Fi to you all
Appreciate you sir! Thank you for your service (Kristen)
Thank you Kristen for always being at the front of the line! Helping, participating and cheering everyone on. Also for all of your hard work and dedication the 2/4 Association.
Always… and thank you. Honored to help. (Kristen)
What a GREAT REUNION. Well planned and well executed. Thanks Brooks.
Becky & Brooks did an amazing job indeed (Kristen).
It looks like another great reunion was held that I could not attend, maybe next year my health will allow for it. I’ve been house-bound since September when my electric mobility scooter broke down to the point that VA said it was beyond economical repair. My replacement scooter is in one of those mystery containers aboard ship off the California coast. Great photos from some super photographers. Semper Fidelis Brothers and Sisters
Yes sir, it was. We are sorry that you couldn’t make it and hope that your health improves and that you can attend next year. Sorry about the scooter, hope the replacement arrives soon so you can get out of the house! Thank you again (Kristen)
Thank you. Great pics. Proud to be one of you. My 25 years active and reserve between 69 and 2010 I relive everyday. Served with many units but will always be a Magnificent Bastard first. Last one I attended was Qtown. Incredible.
Thanks again for great recap.
Wow.. that is awesome… and it was a great time getting to know the Magnificent Bastards, new, recent veteran and mature veterans. 🙂 Hope you can make it out to the next one next year. (Kristen)
Thank you for the pictures and information. Appears a good time was had by all.
Nothing like a little Marine brotherhood

My pleasure! Yes, it did seem like everyone enjoyed themselves. So true. (Kristen)
Unfortunately, I have not been able to attend a 2/4 reunion. I hope to attend next year. Compliments to the great job of organizing, hosting, photography, of the reunion events. Bravo Zulu to all of those who assisted in this great event. It has been many years since I served in Golf/Weapons 2/4. I would be interested if any one wants to correspond.
Jim “Doc” Lowery 1965-1966
Sorry to hear that and we hope you can attend next year as well. Maybe reach out to the secretary to see if you can see who served when you did and reach out to a few who served when you did? (Kristen)

Reunion was well organized Becky Brooks and Kristen. We enjoyed even with our restrictions. It was good to get back and mingle a bit! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication!
Becky and Brooks did all the work.. I just had the pleasure to join in and take lots of pictures. 🙂 But thank you… and yes, glad you two could get out and mingle too! (Kristen)
Kristen
I will give you credit for being the comic! You did a great entertainment job, and worked hard in between!
I’ll take that! 🙂 Gotta have fun! Great mingling with ya’ll (Kristen)
Reunion was great Lynn and I enjoyed very much even with our restrictions. It was well organized by Becky Brooks and Kristen. It was great mingling again with all
I’m so glad you both were able to make it. Please take good care of each other. xoxo
You were missed Jim. If your aren’t on the memorial roll next year, I expect to see and Fran. xoxo
Becky…
I was sorry, due to health reasons I couldn’t make it. I just went through the ReCap and pictures. It was obvious you did an outstanding job putting it all together.
Glad I could assist in a small way helping you get the El Adobe restaurant. The place really looked great in the pictures and I know the food and service is always good.

Sorry that you weren’t feeling well and hope you get better. The restaurant was great – food, location, their banquet area and the people so well done on that. Thank you and get well. (Kristen)
I wish I was on the list for that reunion. Perfect reunion from the pictures. I can still feel my legs from 1sgts hill. I am trying to make it this year. Tom Lambert, Echo Company and Weapons Company 2/4 veteran….
Hey there Tom. Sorry you missed it as well. Thank you for your service. I was honored (and out of breath lol) to hike up that hill at the reunion. Whew! (Kristen)
