On Friday, 8 November 2013 at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, a UH-34D flown during Vietnam War was donated to the NMMC.
A member of our Association, Ben Cascio, flew these and was helpful in getting this chopper into the museum.
Ben Cascio was a pilot supporting 2/4 during the Battle of Dai Do. He was wounded terribly, but kept flying. He got the Distinguished Flying Cross for that.
