Help for SSgt Samuel Salas

I am Sergeant Eric Dominguez and served with 2/4 from 2014-2018. I am writing this on behalf of a brother of ours. During my time, Staff Sergeant Samuel Salas was a mentor and a brother to me, and was a “Marine’s Marine,” He ALWAYS put his guys first and would actively go out of his way to make sure they were taken care. He made the Marine Corps a place that actually felt like a brotherhood. Now, he works as a Deputy for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office and has a beautiful family. I recently discovered that Samuel has been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer and is actively going through a variety of treatments. I wanted to reach out to the Association to see if we could spread this around our 2/4 family with the intent of providing some support for him and his family.
