Brothers, it’s time to come together again — this time on the Texas Coast.  Make your plans now.

Let’s be clear — this is NOT a generational reunion.  This is a Bastard Reunion.  Vietnam. Lebanon. Desert Storm. Iraq. Afghanistan. Every era.

If you carried the colors of 2nd Battalion 4th Marines…

If you ever answered to the name “Bastard”…

This weekend is more than a reunion.
It’s where spouses and children learn the history behind the service.
It’s where widows and families remain part of the battalion they helped build.
It’s where Marines reconnect with the only men who truly understand what they carried.
This is how the legacy of our battalion moves forward — together.

Call your brothers.  Invite your fire team.  Make sure every generation is represented.

If you are flying in, the closest airport is Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP), 1000 International Dr, Corpus Christi, Tx 78406

The airport is just under 10 miles from the hotel and should be an easy/affordable Uber/Lyft

📅 Day 1 – Thursday, Sept 24:

Travel to Reunion, Check-In & Meet and Greet

1900 – Welcome Meet & Greet at Lazy Beach Brewery (Downtown) – website

A private, casual, kid-friendly brewery closed to the public just for us! Catch up with old friends over local craft beer and good company. Owned by a Purple Heart recipient.

🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Lazy Beach Downtown (312 N Chaparral St B, Corpus Christi, Tx 78401) is a short walk (0.4 miles and approx 8 min walk) from the hotel

🚍 Transportation will be provided to and from the brewery for those unable or not wanting to walk.

📅 Day 2 – Friday, Sept 25:

Association Business & Museum Lunch

0900-100 – 2/4 Association Board Meeting (Board members only) at Host Hotel Hospitality Room (Holiday Inn Corpus – address above)

1000-1100  – 2/4 Association Business Meeting (All welcome) at Host Hotel Hospitality Room

1200-1500 – Lunch at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, 1900 N Chaparral St, Corpus Christi, TX

🚍 Transportation will be provided to and from the luncheon.

Enjoy a catered buffet style meal overlooking the bay

Then spend the afternoon exploring one of Texas’s top family attractions. Time to gather, visit, and enjoy the afternoon together.

📅 Day 3 – Saturday, Sept 26:

Free Day – Enjoy vibrant downtown or find great things to do in and surrounding areas.

Explore the best of Corpus Christi — visit the USS Lexington, the Museum of Science & History, or have a relaxing beach day at The Water’s Edge Park.

1700-2200 – Bastard Memorial Service & Gala – USS Lexington, 2914 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX

Attire: Formal or Semi-Formal

An evening of remembrance, recognition, and celebration of our Marines and families.

Cordon Bleu for the adults and nuggets/fries for the kids.

🚍 Transportation will be provided to and from the gala. (Parking is limited so it’s best to travel with the group)

👦 👧 Childcare provided:

• Ages 1–10: Private movie night in the ship’s theater
• Ages 11–17: Exclusive ghost tour & escape room

📅 Day 4 – Sunday, Sept 27:

Departures, farewells, and promises to meet again
